Grantee’s rights & other conditions:

1. Within the warranty period, the Grantee is entitled to replacement parts, including labour, free of cost, if the said costs of repair/replacement arise from of an inherent manufacturer’s defect/vice.
2. The Grantor reserves the right to dispose of the product should the Grantee fail to collect the said product within a delay of 45 (forty-five) days following a notification for collection, irrespective of whether the product is under warranty or otherwise.
3. Unless otherwise agreed between the Grantor and Grantee, the Grantor reserves the right, where applicable, to collect from the Grantee the sum due prior to any such repair.
4. The Grantee shall, at all times, during the warranty period ensure that his/her contact details are known to the Grantor.
5. Upon purchase, you agree to receiving marketing information.
6. The Grantor shall endeavor, in good faith, to resolve any dispute arising out of the warranty and in the event that such dispute remains unresolved through amicable negotiation/settlement, any judicial proceeding shall be determined by the appropriate court/s of the Republic of Mauritius.
7. It is compulsory to read your user manual before using any product. Any issues arising from non-compliance will not be G.M.P`S liability.

PREAMBLE & DEFINITIONS

1. The “Grantor” (GM Punjabi & Co Ltd) is a company incorporated under the laws of Mauritius, bearing BRN C07007970 having its registered office at St Paul Road.
2. “Approved dealer” means any retailer duly recognised and approved and/or mandated by the Grantor.
3. Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the Grantor undertakes provide to the Grantee an after sales service within 24 (twenty-four) working hours after the Grantee has been notified, via an SMS Text Message and/or any other medium, that a complaint has been lodged at G.M.P workshop.

THE WARRANTY SHALL BE VALID EN ENFORCEABLE PROVIDED THAT:

1. This Warranty Card is returned to the grantor within 15 (fifteen) days from purchase from an approved dealer.
2. The product purchased has been properly installed and used for the purpose for which such product has been designed and manufactured and that the warranty seal and/or serial no seal has not been tampered with.
3. Any product malfunction whatsoever is not the result of misuse, alteration, tampering, modification, improper and/or inadequate maintenance.
4. The damage and/or malfunction of the product is not caused by accident and/or any act of God.
5. The warranty on any product does not extend to bulbs, fuse, plugs, power cords, bowls, glass, lids, handles, couplers, belt, cabinet parts, rubber parts, metal steel, blades, gaskets, spark plugs, carbon brush, carburetor, oil seal, recoil starter, hose, fuel tanks, spray gun, air filter cylinder, pressure pump, mechanic, switch and any other accessories which come together with the product.
6. The damage is not caused by the presence of a foreign body in the product such as insect, reptiles, dustorrusting and oxidation.
7. Such damage does not result from defects or parts requiring replacement due to ordinary wear and tear, corrosion, stain scratches & dents on the casing or paint work on the product.
8. The warranty is limited to the actual product and not to any information, document and/or data lost as a result of whatsoever defect.
9. The warranty does not cover battery & charger, clamp meter, digital multi meter, laser level and voltage detectors.
10. The warranty is valid in Mauritius only and governed by the law of Mauritius.
11. This warranty is not transferable and extends only to the original retail purchaser and is only valid when supplied with proof of purchase.
12. The Grantor reserves the right to determine if warranty terms and conditions have been met.
13. The warranty does not cover consequential loss.
14. The warranty does not cover power fluctuation.
